Men and women over 30 are welcome to come as volunteers. Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in 60-70% of the retreat while serving the other 30-40%
Yes, married couples between the ages of 18 and 30 are welcome to participate together. You can stay on the campus in separate men’s and women’s homes or stay off-site at a local hotel. Click here for more information.
Absolutely! To request a partial or full scholarship, email [email protected]. You will receive a response to your request within two weeks.
Refunds are available for any reason up to 30 days before the event, minus processing fees (totaling around $17 USD).
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate children at this time.
We do not have the facilities for pets. Fluffy and Scruffy will have to stay home.
Of course! If you need to come late or leave early, please let us know when you register so we can make any necessary special arrangements.
While there is a unique experience staying on campus with the staff of GFA World, you are welcome to stay at a local hotel instead, at your own expense. Click here for more information.
Each meal will have gluten-free and dairy-free options available and a robust salad bar. If you need other food accommodations, please plan to bring food that works for your dietary needs.
May in Texas is unpredictable! It may be hot; it may be storming. Please check the forecast for Wills Point, TX, in the days preceding the retreat. Clothes should be casual, comfortable and modest.
We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to unplug from the world, including phones and other electronics, to really hear from the Lord during these seven days. If an emergency arises, internet is available at all the public buildings on campus. Houses do not have internet.
Absolutely! We ask that group leaders ages 18-30 come as participants and group leaders over 30 come as volunteers.
