Letter from our Founder, KP Yohannan
Dear Friend,
We are amazed and deeply grateful for all the Lord has done during GFA World’s 44 years of ministry.
He has faithfully sustained and empowered our national missionaries to share the Gospel with millions of precious souls who previously did not know our Lord. And He raised up partners, like you, who answered the call to labour behind the scenes through your prayers and generosity.
It is with great joy that I send you this special anniversary report. Your partnership has continued to enable our national missionaries, who are pouring their lives out in ministry, to love and serve some of the most destitute communities in the world. I pray your heart is strengthened as you see the astounding eternal fruit God has produced through your support.
Your prayers have helped our national missionaries share the Gospel and embrace suffering—even despite significantly increased opposition and persecution—just as the early Church did in the book of Acts. And, just as those earliest congregations experienced, He is adding to their number daily those who are being saved (see Acts 2:47).
At the same time, we have obediently taken our first steps through the open door the Lord has given us in Africa—and we gratefully anticipate all God has in store for the future.
As we look back on these years of fruitful, God-given ministry, let us give thanks to the Lord together. Christ laid down His life for all the people who have chosen to walk with Him and for the multitudes who still await the Good News. Let us follow in His footsteps, making a renewed commitment to pray, believe and work together until they, too, know our Saviour.
May the Lord bless you abundantly as you read this special report. Thank you for investing your life for eternity.
Yours for those waiting to hear,
K.P. Yohannan (Metropolitan Yohan)
